Seersucker Shirt
This morning I finished the seersucker shirt. I am very pleased with it. Now its ready to wear for this weekend's Labor Day cookout.
Day two
Today, I sewed the button holes. It was a bit tricky. Lining up the needle with starting point was a bit tough to nail. The shirt is almost done, I just have to hem the sleeve and bottom. Stay tuned to see pics of the final shirt. . .
Day one
I am starting a new design project, sewing a short sleeve seersucker shirt, using a dark pink seersucker fabric. The fabric I am using is leftover from a skirt I made. The singer machine I'll be sewing on is my Featherweight 221. The pattern is a McCall's. It says "easy", we'll see about that. It requires 4 button holes so, stay tuned for more blogs about making the button holes, and my progress. . . .
