Blaze orange hunting hat

This afternoon, I finished the personalized blaze orange hunting hat. Each initial was sewn onto the back of the hat using a zig zag pattern. The camouflage square is 2x2 inches, the letter is 1x1 inch. The hat is for purchase with your custom initial, just contact me to order.
Next Step
This morning, I sewed the personalized initial onto the camouflage fabric. It was tricky! The 2 inch square camo fabric would bunch up - I had to keep it pulled tight and guide it though the needle. The first 2 letters needed a do-over! But I did it!

Yesterday, I started designing a personalized blaze orange hunting hat. The letters were sized out and drawn onto paper. Then, I traced them onto the camouflage fabric as a guide for sewing the letter. I will sew the letter using the special stitch BL built into my Singer500 Slant-O-Matic . To be continued . . .
